Hi Tracy,
We hope that you and your family are healthy and are finding ways to adapt to a world turned upside down. There are a lot of unexpected challenges right now, but there are also a lot of things to be grateful for, like our strong Lumberjack community. Thank you for being a part of this family – we are truly stronger together.

As mentioned in the video above, we are collecting words of advice, encouragement, and inspiration to share with those who might need a boost right now. Here’s how you can help:
Click the “Reply” button below to send either an Email or Video message, right from this platform. Here are a few audiences you might consider – just be sure to tell us who your audience is in your message so we can deliver it to the right group:
  • NAU Students: all students are taking online classes now and missing out on the company of their peers; provide them with words of encouragement to finish the semester strong.
  • NAU Class of 2020: commencement has moved online and graduating seniors will have a very different experience this spring; share some words of advice and support.
  • Faculty/Staff: faculty have converted to virtual classrooms within the span of a couple of weeks and staff behind the scenes, or on the frontlines, are doing their best to keep everything going; let them know how much you appreciate how hard they’re working to ensure that the students get the same quality NAU education.
Thank you—we will be sharing these videos on social media and through email to inspire and encourage the entire NAU community.

And, because many donors have asked how else they can help, we have created a giving site to support emergency student needs in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Any amount helps. Thank you!

Keeping you in our thoughts.

Stay safe and stay strong,
Your friends at the Lumberjack Engagement Center
